In Roof Solar Panels (PV)
While on roof solar panels are not what you’d term unsightly, they are quite clearly visible and therefore if this is not to your taste, there are a couple of alternatives; the
first being in roof solar systems.
The main benefit of in roof solar systems are that they look very aesthetically pleasing due to not being quite as intrusive as their on roof alternatives.
Ideally installed in new roofs and new builds, in roof solar systems offset the cost against the roof tiles which are no longer needed as shown in the image below.
Aesthetically speaking, we would recommend installing in roof solar systems with a dark coloured roof, ie: black tiles and black solar modules. These can look fantastic and are a cheaper alternative to using solar tiles or slates.
